Cash Donations

Hospices in Ontario only receive 50% of operational funding from the Ministry of Health, with the community raising the other half. Therefore, monetary donations are always welcome. We will offer an official tax receipt for all donations over $20.00.

You can donate in one of the following ways:

Cheque or cash

Can be dropped off at our thrift store or at Huron Hospice. Kindly make your cheque payable to Huron Hospice.

E-transfers

Can be made to donations@huronhospice.ca.

For either of the above, kindly enclose your full contact details.

Online donations can be made by clicking on below button.

Convenient drop-off or pick-up of donations

Our thrift store will be continuously looking for donations to stock the store. We appreciate your clean and good quality items that need a new home. Our Donation Centre is conveniently located behind the store and will be open during our store business hours.

We also offer a convenient pick-up service of local donations. Our volunteer will pick up items in Bayfield on Wednesday mornings between 9:00-12:00. Kindly leave your items on the front porch if possible. In appreciation of this convenient service, kindly leave an item for the Bayfield Food Bank alongside your thrift donation, which we will gladly drop off at the Food Bank.

Please click on the Pick-up button below if you would like to schedule a pick-up.
